As I try to figure out the best way to use this blog...i.e. how often to post, what to post, etc., I find myself at a loss. :( I am very glad that I got this baby crawling...but now I want to make it WALK!! lol
Today I find myself trying to make myself a 'plan'...not just for my blog, but also for my Stampin' Up! business & my life! Sensational Sunday...for sure! I also find myself very thankful for where I am in my life...although I may not be where I thought I would be...everything happens for a reason & I am thankful for a loving, wonderful husband, amazing friends & the opportunity to live my life the way I want!
My plan is to grow my business now...while I have no children or full-time job to get in the way...so that I can spend every valuable minute with my children when they do arrive! As I approach my 1 year mark with Stampin' Up!, (still a couple months away, but it will be here before I realize!) I find that I have learned a LOT but I know that I still have a long way to go to get where I want to be...
So...here's where YOU come in!!! I am asking for comments, suggestions, ideas, etc. How do you use blogs? What do you like to see posted? How often do you like to receive new information from each blog? Is there anything I can do to make your reading experience more enjoyable?
All comments, suggestions, ideas, etc should be posted in the comment section & I hope you will follow my blog to see what I decide to implement in the coming weeks!
Thank you in advance for reading, responding, and following my blog as she goes from crawling to walking...and then on to running!!

Re-purposing Supplies...
Have you ever cut supplies for multiple copies of one project? Whether you were going to make a few of the same cards or multiple matching pieces for a scrapbook page...but didn't need all of what you cut?
Well...I have! And yesterday my goal was to re-purpose some of those pre-cut pieces...without just copying more of the same card because I used a summer set and I don't need any more 'summer' cards right now!
Here is a picture with the original 'summer' card & the re-purposed card pieces using other stamp sets!

Your challenge, if you dare to accept it...
Go into your scraps, find some pieces that you cut that were extra & do something with them!!
Post your projects so I can see what you did!! Who knows, there may even be a prize for 1 lucky reader!?!

Birthday Invitations & Thank Yous!
Today I'd like to share something fun with you! While this past weekend was important to many people for many different reasons, I was spending time with a very good friend of mine & her daughter, whose birthdays happen to be 9/9 & 9/11. When my friend approached me a few weeks ago and asked me to help her make invitations for her daughter's 1st birthday, I was flattered! Then I panicked! The party was in about 3 weeks & invites needed to go out ASAP & I had to order the stamp sets that I wanted to use for the invitations!
Well, I got the sets & made 4 sample invites for her to look at. We ended up with the finished product you see here:
She was a most gracious customer & we even had an 'assembly party' so that she could help me put them together!!
Then...as the party got closer & I started to think about gifts for a 1 year old (that doesn't really NEED anything), I thought about making Thank You Cards to coordinate with her party invitations! I can say I was nervous about this decision, but was extremely happy when her response was that she "...was just looking at Thank You cards & thought about how nice it would be to have ones that matched the invitations!?!" Here are the Thank You Cards:
And now my new focus has been born - Custom Hand-Made Invitations, Thank You Cards, & other Greeting Cards!! Watch for details to be posted soon, but feel free to contact me today with your inquiry about what is available & what the prices will be! There will be discounted rates for anyone who places Christmas Card orders before 9/30!! Every order will be priced on an individual basis...you never know until you ask!

Learning Watermarks...
I must say that after getting the basics of this blog set up yesterday, I started the adventure of learning how to make a Watermark & place said Watermark on my photos!! And what an adventure it has been! LOL I'm not sure if it will get changed or not, but I now have a Watermark & I have managed to get it placed on one photo soo far! (May not be a big deal for some, but it is for me!) As soon as I get a few more done & some more current pics taken, I will post them!
In the meantime, Happy Scramping!!
