Beautiful Journey!

This is something pretty different from me today! I have seen some gorgeous works of art recently & I must say that the canvas pieces have inspired me the most...so when I placed my most recent order on Amazon, I decided to add some 5×5 canvas boards to play with! (I ordered some larger ones too, but they're not here yet.)

 

This is my 1st one! I LOVE the way it turned out...& now I'm looking for the perfect place to hang it up!

 

Meanwhile, I'm submitting this for Friends with Flair!

 

 I used the {JoJa Kit} Beautiful Elements from Unity Stamps, along with a bunch of misc. products I had around my craft room that rarely get used! I am glad that I made myself step outside my comfort zone to create this piece! Hoping I can do that more often, as I love the results!

I always thought I might add canvases to my items for sale in my Etsy Shop (which I desperately need to spend some time adding new products to...I think everything has expired!) & my craft fair offerings as well...I'm just afraid that I'll like them all too much to part with! LOL

Wacky Wednesday!

I'll close tonight with a couple cards I made this week...I LOVE the Hey, Valentine stamp set in our Occasions Catalog! The little pirate image is my favorite...& I made this stamp even more versatile by cutting the greeting off of the image...making 1 stamp into 2!! Doing this made it MUCH easier to stamp soo many of this image without having to mask each time.

 My kids were recently invited to a Pirate Themed B-day Party for 2 of their friends! Each boy received 10 Thank You cards to color & send to those that gave them gifts!

 I sent these Thank You cards to a friend that is expecting her 2nd little boy in the next couple weeks!
Hopefully his older brother will enjoy coloring them before they send them out too!!

I used my MDS software to print out some DSP (patterned paper) for both sets of Thank You cards!

I love all the things we can do with our digital design program!

  

I even had my daughter color these to make Valentine Cards!!!

(They went in the mail yesterday...sorry for the spoiler if you happen to be one of the 8 lucky people that will get one!)
