Just a quick Graduation card for the #TGIFC03 Challenge this week!
I had no one to send Graduation cards to this year, so I hadn't made any in a while... I wanted to do something classic looking...so this design was born!
(I love it soo much that I may make a few for my first vendor event in June...even though most graduations will be past by then...maybe someone will want one for next year or someone they forgot to send a card to!?!)
I used a Gold Glimmer Brad, but I dipped it in Versamark ink, embossed it with gold embossing powder & then dipped it in the gold glitter while it was still warm!
Gotta love the SHIMMER!!!!!
I also hand-made the tassel with white Baker's Twine. Very difficult to do with such a teeny tiny tassel, but soooooo worth the work! (I will find an easier way to make these if I decide to do more than just a handful of them...)
This close-up is just to show the glitter (top stripe) vs the glimmer paper (bottom stripe & stars). I did burnish the glitter into some Sookwang tape...I think that helps it look a little nicer & it doesn't get caught on everything & fall off as easily.
Supply list is below. Be sure to ask if you have any questions!
Also, don't forget that there are new Weekly Deals that started yesterday!
Hostess Code is BVWMRZKC!
I hope everyone had a creative Hump Day! I know I did...I can't wait to share what else I've been working on today!!!
Thanks for stopping by! Visit again soon!
