MDS Challenge! (MDSM23)

Just a quick post to share something that's been a week in the making!

If you read Monday's post, you remember me mentioning that I was starting to try more My Digital Studio (MDS) projects & that Jena suggested these challenges as a 'jumping point' for learning new things in the software...

Well...In order to submit my creation to the Challenge, I need to have a link to it!

Soo...here is the challenge sketch:
Click on the photo of the sketch to go to the Blog & see all the amazing pages that were submitted!

And here is MY version!
Of course, I'm a 'double-page' scrapper...so I will be adding a coordinating page to this before I have it printed for her album...but this will do for the challenge!

I hope you all enjoy!  I should have ANOTHER MDS item to share on Monday and I feel a CONTEST of my own coming soon too!  Keep a keen eye here for more!

  1. super cute page... just a tiny suggestion, one that I didnt know when I first started digi. Make sure you check your journaling size. Make sure you zoom out to see what it will look like printed so you arent left with tiny illegible words once the page is real!

  2. Thanks for the tip! I usually print at home (as I have only done a few sample pages until last week!, so I can change it & re-print if I need to. But I will keep that in mind when I decide to order some!

  4. This is just too, too cute! I have to say, I absolutely love that the punches are filled with the same colour as the background. I always change mine to be white or vanilla or something equally 'plain', but it gives it such a great effect the way you did it. LOVE it!! So glad you joined us at MDS Monday this week and look forward to seeing more :)
