Friends with Flair & the Unity {be inspired} Challenge...again this week!

Well...it's Friday!
...& that means it's Unity's Friends with Flair Day!!!

Once again this week, I am going to share my Friends with Flair card AND enter it into the Unity {be inspired} Challenge...& once again, I used the Color Challenge...but I HAVE to make myself use the Sketch Challenge one of these days too!
(If you missed last week's, you can check it out too! It was also shown on Unity's Facebook page yesterday! Such a weird, but awesome feeling to see my work on someone else's page!)

Here are the Challenges:

...and here is what I created using those colors...& Unity Stamps Faceless Beauty stamp...
(sorry for the dark pic...)

There's still time to pick some inspiration from the colors or sketches & make your own creation to enter in the Challenge! The prizes are always awesome...& you could win!

Friends with Flair AND a Unity {be inspired} Challenge Entry!

Since my crafting time is pretty slim these days with 2 little ones running around, I try to make the most of the little time I do get. This week I managed to make 2 cards...using the colors for Unity's {be inspired} Challenge!  I'm only going to share one for now...actually the 2nd one I made...because it's my personal favorite of the 2! (I'm going to save the other one until next week or a day that I just need to post something but haven't had time to make anything new!...Cheating, maybe...but hopefully it will keep you in suspense while you wait for the reveal!?!)

I used Unity's A Faceless Beauty Stamp...along with the Stampin' Up! items listed below...as well as some retired SU shimmer paint, glimmer brads & ribbon...a Tim Holtz Embossing Folder and a  Memory Box Stencil. (If you need details on these items, let me know & I will get names for you...)
As always, thank you for stopping by! Leave a little note if you don't mind...just to let me know that you were here!
Have a crafty weekend!

A Fall Friday

It's Friday again! This week has been a bit different for me...some unforeseen events kept me from blogging on Wed like I had planned...& it's always weird having hubby home on a weekday... he throws my whole routine off! (In a good way, I assure you!)

But I did manage to get a little crafting time in! & made this awesome Fall Card for Friends with Flair this week! I hope you enjoy this card using Unity's Thanks & Giving set!
I decided to do a fun fold with this card...here is a little closer look.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
As usual, I used high quality inks & cardstock from Stampin' Up! The Hardwood Background is also from Stampin' Up! Here is the supply list...minus the Unity Stamp & the retired ribbon:

As always, I thank each & every one of you for stopping by to take a look!

Go forth & have a crafty weekend!

Wednesday...late night!

Well, I made this yesterday...& was originally going to save it for Friends with Flair on Friday over at Unity's blog. However, I have been staring at these colors on my workspace since the Unity {be inspired} Challenge was announced back on Sept 11th...and since these colors were on my table & worked soo well for this project, I wanted to enter that Challenge too! It wasn't until just a few minutes ago that I was reminded that the Unity {be inspired} Challenge submission ends TONIGHT! So here I am...posting this tonight so that I can link to the Challenge!

This is a 6x6 piece designed to be framed.
Here is a close up of the spider button & an angle that I thought showed a bit of the dimension of this piece.
Here it is in the only 6x6 frame I have...I don't like it much in there as it loses a lot of the detail due to the plastic cover instead of glass. If I can't find a frame that I like for this piece, I will simply mount it on chipboard & make an easel for it!

For those of you that are not familiar with this Challenge, you can choose your inspiration from the COLORS or the SKETCH...or you can do BOTH! Obviously, I decided to go with the COLORS for my project! I hope you enjoyed it...

Here's another little bonus project...while I had Esmerelda out, I thought she needed some glitter too!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back & visit often...leave some love when you do! ;)
(I'm gonna be sad when Halloween passes...it really is my favorite theme to work on!)

Have a crafty week!!
