MDS Monday! (MDSM24)

Happy MDS Monday!

(read all the way to the bottom for the chance to win a FREE GIFT!)

This MDS Challenge is a Card Sketch.  Talk about stepping WAY outside of my comfort zone!?!  I have used MDS for a couple years now, but usually just for flyers, coupons & other 'advertising' type things.  I plugged some photos into a few pre-made layouts in the past, just so that I had some samples to print out...but I just started actually using MDS to create scrapbook pages!
Cards, not so much...until NOW!

Here is the sketch for this challenge:
Click on the photo to go to the Challenge Page!

I went & looked at the submissions soo far...& did not expect to find soo many Layouts submitted for a Card Challenge.  (I AM new to this!!!)  I really like many of them...& some of the cards as well, but I knew right away that I didn't want to do what 'everyone else is doing'...so I tried to do a card...without using the sketch exactly...or CASEing the other samples that I liked...mostly the ones with the hexagons!

Keep in mind that this is my FIRST MDS CARD!!!!!

Please comment & let me know what you think about it!  Good or bad, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

  1. I think you've done a fabulous job for your first MDS card! I'll be honest with you, it took me quite some time to really get into the mindset to make a card with MDS - but now I make tons of them and it's so great to have some quick, easy and mailable cards on hand! They're great for keeping in your purse for the unexpected :)

I really like how you've made the sketch your own and the fabulous colours you have used. Thanks for stepping outside of your comfort zone and playing with us at MDS Monday this week!
